I am Josh Bell. Bellectrics is my one man mobile workshop, based at Tuncurry and working right around the lakes. Batteries, dual battery and solar set ups, caravan and 4WD wiring, head units and the odd Sunday morning rescue. You do not have to drop the car anywhere. I turn up with the van and do it at your place.

What I do
Auto electrical work, done where the vehicle already is
Dual battery systems
Battery boxes, DC to DC chargers, isolators and Anderson plugs wired so the fridge keeps running and the starter battery still starts the car.
Caravan and camper electrics
Solar controllers, van power, Starlink boosters and tidy 12 volt work through a caravan, finished and cleaned up before I leave.
4WD and touring fit-outs
Fridge slides, drawer systems, switch panels, USB and 12 volt outlets, lit and labelled so you can actually find the right switch at night.
Light bars and custom harnesses
Driving lights and light bars wired properly, including custom harnesses made up to suit your vehicle and a factory style push switch in the dash.
Head units and reversing cameras
Apple CarPlay screens, stereo upgrades and reversing cameras fitted into the dash so they look like they came out of the factory that way.
Wiring repairs and fault finding
Shorts, sparked wires, accessories that have been hacked in by someone else. I trace it back, fix the cause and make it safe.

I started Bellectrics in 2022 after years on the tools, and it has been me and the van ever since. Trade qualified, licensed, and local. When you ring the number on the side of the van, I am the one who answers it and I am the one who turns up.
Most weeks are a mix: a battery or a charging fault in the morning, a caravan solar set up or a drawer system in the afternoon, and every so often a car that has decided to stop on a Sunday. I would rather sort the cause than patch over it, so you are not calling someone again about the same thing in six months.
Everything gets wired the way I would want it in my own vehicle: proper fusing, tidy runs, labelled switches, and the inside of the car left the way I found it.

Josh was extremely helpful and fixed my battery in my van which is connected to the solar panel. He fixed the wires which had sparked the day before and he cleaned up the exposed wires, making the battery safe. I highly recommend Josh, he’s very professional and knows his craft.

I recently had some work done on my caravan by bellectrics (Josh) solar controller & star link booster, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. Josh turned up right on time, did a great quality installation, and left the caravan clean and tidy when he finished – which I really appreciated. He also took the time to give me some great ideas for future upgrades, which was very helpful. Highly recommend Josh if you’re looking for a reliable and professional auto electrician in the Forster area.

Couldn’t recommend Josh enough. Our car broke down at 7am on a Sunday, on Mother’s Day. Josh left his family to help ours get back on the road, experienced, knowledgeable and affordable with what he does and an all round top bloke who will get the job done.

I'm very happy with the service from Josh. He came to my house and wired up a light bar and wiring harness for me, even made a custom wiring harness so I could return the relatively expensive one I bought that needed a fair bit of modification to suit my Corolla. It ended up cheaper and looks much better with the factory Toyota-style push switch, which he even had in his van ready to go. Great service for a fair price. Thanks mate.

If you are around the lakes, I can get to you
There is no workshop to drive to and no shopfront to find. The van carries the tools, the testers and most of the parts, so the job happens in your driveway, at the caravan park or wherever the vehicle has stopped.
